completely beyond my comprehension then!I'm not too au faix with Postdocs. My wife talked about doing one a few years ago, but she got a lecturing job and that was pretty much the end of it. So, does this mean you're working in the private sector at the moment and trying to get funding through work, or are you at a uni?

Uni.It's at Heriot-Watt, which is still a good uni. It's just that I've been a post doc for four years and wanted to get on a bit with this research lark.
