I bought 250 wooden kebab skewers from the 99p shop
the bits of my garden where I don't want the cat to shit look like a porcupine right now, but it works

I was thinking or planting a border of wild garlic
apparently they dislike the smell... and I love the taste so everybody wins
... although your idea will probably be adopted in the mean time ... I might even place some of my GI Joe action men in amongst the skewers!

well done those courgettes
my beans have started flowering and my strawberries but much of the other stuff is just doing away... I was looking at the celery this morning and it's going yellow so I think I'll need to find some other feed for it
