# Layers are easy. Think of them of sheets of transparent paper that lay over each other.
You can change one and not the others, and move them around and reorder them to make things lay on top of other things they weren't previously lay on top of.

It makes it possible to do some pretty fun stuff, with a bit of time and effort.
It even allows scope to produce fairly crude TOAPs, which is what I usually do ;)
