# I was forced to sit through an episode of that programme a few weeks ago.
It's a compelling argument for a hastening of the apocalypse.

# I've not seen any of it - Someone tried to explain what it was about to me, but I instinctively blanked out....

# Thing is, I don't blame the participants
They are just stupid people who want to be telly.

I blame the smug, coke-snorting, execs at a certain TV company who feel its acceptable to exploit people, and ruin their lives for £50 a day and are dining out at the fucking Ivy on how clever and witty their 'original' concept was

# I don't blame the execs - it's just good business.
Making money from people being stupid and/or lazy is not only fun, but how the whole system works (see terms and conditions for details).

I don't really blame anyone.

I just want to see everyone involved - including the audience - incinerated with napalm, that's all.

# A few years ago, an MP said Jeremy Kyle was the modern equiv of bear baiting
I kind of agree with that.

It's easy to say "well, if you don't want the hassle don't go on the show", but execs often tell outright lies to people to get them on these things.
(, Thu 30 Jun 2011, 9:42, archived)
# That sounds sensible enough.
Do they pay them as well?
(, Thu 30 Jun 2011, 9:46, archived)
# I don't think Kyle does
except expenses

# Pffft.
I've got a really good idea about how to make things much, much better, but hippies and pretentious people tend to get all upset about it and start crying.

# Well, on the upside, the whole damned farrago
is being shipped to the states shortly, so all the less for us!

# or whatever the equivalent of the Ivy is in Liverpool
It's Phil Redmond's company that produces it...

# That'll be this place then
www.restaurantsofliverpool.com/british/formbyhall.htm

He doesn't actually still live in Liverpool does he?
(, Thu 30 Jun 2011, 9:58, archived)
# I very much doubt he does.
:)
