If it's in the BIOS, that has nothing to do with the contents of the hard drive (and your operating system)

Edit: sorry, b3ta occasionally wankers up my posts.
It will have everything on that was on when you first got the computer, assuming the retailer didn't add any extras. For example, it will probably have a demo copy of Office and some security software and all the other bloatware too.
I'm assuming you're accessing the Recovery Manager, either by F8 and Repair Your Computer or F11 at startup? Or possibly something else if it's an XP machine.
