because it's a spider policing insects.

Also spiders are cool. They have a narrow field of vision, so to scan a wider view, rather than their eyes swivelling like ours do, the retina swings to and fro inside the eye. How fabulous is that?

Also, that is pretty damn interesting. I've never kept spiders, bar household ones, but I have kept a couple of scorpions. They were fun.
