# What do they do when you play them noisecore, or dubstep?

# the beatmatching capability of them isn't that great when you play it music
it's rather good at keeping time when you clap your hands at a steady rate, but about every 8 seconds he pauses for a moment to listen to the music, he can't listen and dance at the same time which sucks
but hey the original Keepon which can perfectly match most music cost $30,000 so I'm not complaining that much ;)

# Ahh, I suppose such sophisticated technology would come with a hefty price tag.
How much is the mass-produced version anyway?

# $40 in the US and £40 in the UK
bit unfair for a toy designed by a UK company, bloody rip-off Britain strikes again

however some people have discovered how to activate the 4 motors with an their own i2c signal, so hopefully someone will come up with a hack that makes its dancing match the beats and not stop for breath

# I'll hold out until that day comes.
It does seem like an amusing little gadget to have, but £40's a bit steep for what it is.

# 40 quid
For 40 quid in 2011 I would expect what is essentially a wobbling stick to be able to listen and dance at the same time

# exactly
if one chip couldn't do both at the same time it shouldn't have been that much of a task to add a 2nd chip so one can do the listening so the other can control the motors

# I hadn't heard of this before, have just been looking at some vids of it on Youtube
The maternal instincts I felt towards it bordered on painful
