I had an idea where posts are allowed a certain number of kilobytes per weekthat way if someone wanted to post something say 2 gig/whatever,they could do so but it would limit the rest of the week's allowance.So you could post one pic at 10 gig...or....ten pics at 1 gig type of thing.Don't know how expensive it would be to write the code for this though......

problem with that idea -people on slow dial-ups (yes, there are some) or funky DSL (like me) get the huge file speed-bump every time somebody puts up a biggun. That Advent Calendar (nice as it is) really slows everything, every day!

No, no, noA certain hummus quota, that would work. You could post something that isn't funny occasionally, maybe something cute or beautiful, but you'd have to make up in your other posts. If you don't reach the quotum by the end of the week, you'd be naughtybanned for the entire week after that.
