
Much like most 3D films, you get a bit of depth and that's about it. Nothing came flying out at you.
Filmmakers say they don't want to turn 3D into a gimmick by making things fly out at you but the only reason kids got excited about 3D when I was young was BECAUSE things would fly out at you. Marty McFly wouldn't have ducked in BTTF3 if all it did was give Jaws 'depth'

And yeah, all it does is give you a little bit of depth, a bit like the 3DS does.
I think there was a film called 'Mars Needs Moms' that came out sometime last year, which was banking on its 3D effect. It became the fifth worst commercial failure in cinema history.
I can see the 3D fad dying out soon, there's no point to it, other than to give you a bit of a headache afterwards.
