I'm just wondering when this new fad of being outraged at someone linking to their webshite came about.

people on here have been doing it for years..I used to do it but my webshite needs redoing

just because I was pleased I finished it, rather than looking for sales (it is a bit niche, after all), but funnily enough it's sold more through here than on the dedicated bird forum I use.

from spamming stories on here. then again i'm happy to provide copies of the paid-for stories for free to any regular who wants them, which probably doesn't help, and a few of the stories are free to all anyway.
