From now on I'm not going to listen to what other people say about films, as I heard bad things about Paul yet thought it was pretty good. Likewise, everyone told me the new Conan was terrible but I loved it.

Hot Fuzz had that sudden unsatisfying dip into surrealism halfway through (but it did have Adam Buxton dying in the most unexpectedly unpleasant way)
Paul kept me smiling from the moment it had Another Girl Another Planet on the soundtrack...
