in the old days when we didn't know anything about security and didn't salt and hash passwords etc
it would have been trivial to use b3ta passwords to get into loads of peoples email accounts and rob their paypals etc. (Not everyone, but some, those who'd used the same password on b3ta and other sites etc)
Lucky I didn't do that as now I'd be in prison. Or have a big house.

Well you can't do that to me!
my password here is ferrets159
and my pay pal one is 159ferrets
there's no way you could hack that by guessing!
*edit* many years ago a friend of mine got into a flame war with someone in a chat room, He put his e-mail up and he knew enough about him to "guess" his password.... anyway long story short he used the same password for everything and the guy ended up buying 1000 keyrings delivered to his home with "I am a twat" etched into them! It still shocks me to this day that my friend never got caught because he was retarded enough to do the "hacking" from his own home internet connection!
