what colour should i do the outer par of the furtive blanket, people? obviously, the bear himself is black and white, but there'll be quite a bit of blanket surrounding him what colour should it be?

I'd go with grey, but that's just me (in my advancing years).

but the problem there is that grey wool can often have shading differences in it. i think it's something to do with the dye. if i do go with grey, i'll have to buy all i need in one go, so it's all the same batch number and there's more chance of the shade matching
