Snake!
Were a bit worried at first that it was a young Taipan, which are mean bastards and incredibly dangerous, but it was in fact a Keel-backed Snake - just about the most harmless snake Australia has to offer.
Also, a fully-grown frog that is about half-an-inch in length:
