It was really disappointing.I was expecting from JJ Abrams something like Cloverfield and from Spielberg something like Close Encounters but it didn't work on any level the effects were meh! the plot was poor and you were left with the overall feeling of being robbed and somewhat blinded by all the unnecessary lens flares. Note to JJ and Spielberg slick colorisation and lens flares do not improve a pile of crap.
