or any other language. We had very rudimentary French Language lessons at school with no real emphasise of actually learning anything about the language. But on the continent they learn English as a second language and most are multilingual, which puts Britain to shame.

I was actually referring though to the fact that "lul" is Dutch slang for penis. Having said that though we can use phrases like cocky and dicky without so much as a snigger.

As I understand it also Wan Kok means Bad Cook in Dutch as Mediocre pointed out on my Facebook.

I spent quite a lot of my childhood in Holland so I know lots of childish rude words but would have no idea how to tell someone to fuck off!
