# fuck it
I can't think of anything for this weeks compo, which is why I didn't vote for this

# Definitely this!
Also, the levels slider in my Photoshop has just stopped working. I can't figure out what I've done to bugger it up and I have a tedious fuckload of wedding photos to edit.

# Stopped working, how so?

# The box comes up and then I can't do anything with it.
I've tried closing and opening Photoshop and it's the same problem. I've probably clicked something that for some reason turns it off...

This entire wedding has stressed me out. Everyone looks miserable and two of the guests turned up in tatty hoodies in fluorescent colours and chose to stand in annoyingly uneditable positions in half of the shots.

# i've always been impressed by the power of the 'esc' key at times like that
seems to fix the problem 99 times out of a hundred

edit: or use Curves instead

# I've reinstalled it and it seems fine.
When I say Photoshop, I actually mean Photoshop Elements 3, I've been in desperate need of an update for a while.

Hopefully it's not a weird anti-editing virus. If this is from downloading JJ's game I will hurt him...

# Hope this isn't stating the bleeding obvious, but you're not adjusting the levels on a new, blank layer by any chance?
(, Wed 30 May 2012, 22:37, archived)
# Ha, no.
The levels weren't responding at all. The sliders wouldn't even move.
