# It gets worse
I'm actually doing it

# On a Friday night, too :'(
edit: oh yeah, and some of the answers are REALLY shit, but dictated by what would fit in the spaces remaining. 43 down, for instance.

# Haha
I'm not surprised, crosswords are hell to make

# I found it easy in the past
until I realised that there were all these RULES you had to stick to, about symmetry and so forth. I've still not done it right because the middle 'island' shouldn't be isolated in that way, but I kind of gave up with this halfway. I guess the newspapers have computer programs to make them, I can't see how someone at The Times has the time or the sanity to write a completely new one every day!

# I'm sure a lot only have one axis of symmetry
Hah, you never know, there are some crazy people out there. I'm kinda tempted to write a program that generates them now though, possibly with some kind of website scraping to make it choose audience-relevant words.
Anyway, looks like I've buggered up some of the corners. So I think I'll leave the rest 'til tomorrow.

# There are a few other formats
Like rotational symmetry.

# Ah, I've seen them before
So yeah, patterns and symmetry of some kind. Although.. why is that? The only way that has any purpose is in those horrific ones that make you work out what squares to fill in black as well. *checks Wikipedia* Oh, tradition :)

# this is awesome!

# Bloody fucking christ.
2:30 in the morning, with a gutful of beer and whiskey is not the best time for this. Think I'll have to check back.

# Verily.
I shall have to come back to this once I've slept off this whiskey, vodka and terrible cold.

# Nicely "click"
I'll solve it tomorrow (my bedtime now)
Then when I feel the urge, I'll post another

# this is utterly brilliant
yet I sadly suspect that in-jokes will be its un-FP-ing.

# It's really not, but thanks anyway :)
