It has an incredibly languid pace, and its 3hrs longbut very rewarding, especially on repeated viewings

saw it at the pictures recently...absolutely beautiful to look at (and listen to), some fantastic scenes, but I found my mind wandering a bit. Maybe I'm a philistine.

I'm not usually very good with long, slow-paced filmsI don't have a great attention span. But Barry Lyndon just seems to hypnotize me with its beauty.

Yeah, it was extremely lovely to look atand I could watch it again, for that reason. I loved Tree of Life, too, which was also pretty, but veeeery slow.
