# A field of wheat, a cricket bat and my slippers are three things that might argue with that.

# it's just that
you look at a bunch of colors and shapes and say its a field of wheat, slippers, bat and whatnot

# Pareidolia is your mind making recognisable associations from a vague source.
But if you see Elvis on a slice of toast, it doesn't become Elvis, it's still a slice of toast, albeit one where the visage of The King is apparent to you/others. This is pareidolia.
Seeing a field of wheat is just seeing a field of wheat and knowing it for what it is. This is called recognition.

Try it this way - what do you see?

And now?

One picture is pure recognition - I see no faces, no sleeping monkeys, no reaching hands. I see wheat in a field. The possibility for pareidolia is there, but it would take a high level of concentration to look for something that is not instantly obvious to all. And where you might see a face, I (and many others) may not.

The other is 100% pareidolia

# RIS
the second one doesn't look anything like a field of wheat

# I know what you mean dude, I am not stupid.
But in reality it's just colors. The fact that you call it a field of wheat doesn't make it so.
