I mean... don't get me wrong.
I think people who have moaned about the fact a great deal of money has
been spent during a time of austerity and recession have a valid point (even though I'm all for the Olympics)
but, fuck me... it's too late now. The Games are here, there's nothing they can do to stop them
(with the exception of blowing the whole place sky high - which would end up costing MORE money)... just get involved and fucking enjoy it

I seem to remember hearing the National Socialists did this to great effect,
pulling Germany out of spiralling inflation/ unemployment in the 1930's.
