
I think it may have something to do with with how quickly you recieve you (I like this clicks)
As In, if something is posted and recieves 10 clicks within the first 3 hours or so, it is more likly to get on the popular page than something that was posted 3 days earlier, but has gradually recieved 15 clicks slowly over those 3 days making it higher in the actual compo.
As I say just a guess on my part.
Or it may actually be mods doing it, it has puzzeled me in the past too.

I have had stuff in the compo myself that was beating other more popular members stuff that always gets on the popular page, and there was their picture and mine nowhere to be seen...
