because I like to draw these transformations of things
I basically wanted to know what made you draw the tentacle santa but forgot that this board is infested with tards.

does it need a reason?
seeing as it apparently does, I thought I would do a christmas picture for this weeks image challenge, I thought I would draw Santa and then I thought I would do him as some kind of monster, I then thought tentacles which I then realised sounded a bit like Santa Claus, so the whole happy combination of Santa and Tentacles came about and I named it Santantacles. All of which is far more boring than just looking at a picture without an explanation.

so no reason

no, there was "because"
as I said earlier. Beyond wordplay, the current image challenge and time of year, what should I have added to qualify as a reason to you?

I think it was obvious that the why was about the tentacles
And if thinking of tentacles qualifies as a reason then by all means call it a reason. You are right. This is not interesting.

I said why, topical wordplay, santaclaus/tentacles - santentaclaus
is it really that complicated? Did you miss his name in the title and file name?

didn't care about all that
the why was about the tentacles

Everything is always funnier once it's been explained.
