Feathers
If I were a bird,
A feather has fallen from my wing,
For without you,
There is nobody for whom I can sing.
That corner of my heart,
Which remains forever true,
The love is there always within,
Though blood may run from red to blue,
Yet that feeling can never pass,
Though I might try to forget,
No matter how long Time may take,
Rivers flow through both joy and regret.
Thus please do not let sorrow fill my eye,
But let me sing,
Never to cry.
