# you think that's bad, I thought I'd lost my keys this morning
More importantly, have you seen Iron Man 3?

# Aye, but it should have been called "Tony Stark" or "Starkfall".
Not that I'm complaining - I thoroughly enjoyed it.

# They made all his badass armours seem like fragile paper sculptures.
He fought a GOD (thor) in the Avengers and put up a damn good fight, but in IM3 his armours seemed really weak. The ending was a total surprise too - in a bad way.

# It turned all mutant/x-men which I thought was pretty cool.
SPOLIERS

I think she should have stayed that way.

# Yeah - they just 'fixed' her, like she had a headache or something.
That film had more plot holes and McGuffins than any film in recent memory.

# I concur, I think Dark Knight Rises had more, but it was so suave you forgive it.
Though it dragged on a bit.

# The Extremis Virus is a pretty potent weapon in the Marvel Universe.
It enhanced strength to crazy levels, granted Wolverine-like healing abilities and allowed the host to generate as much heat as The Human Torch.
The fact Iron Man's armours fell victim to it shouldn't really come as a surprise.

# But how can a handshake from a glowy hand incapacitate an armour, yet keep it perfectly intact and functioning?

# The big action scenes were very impressive, also he spent more time out of the suit than in it, which was a nice change.
Plus at time it felt like a buddy cop movie, which is not surprising as it was directed by Shane Black, the dork from Predator and writer of the first two Letal Wapon phalms.

Wasn't keen on Stark's boohoo/i'm stressed interludes which felt forced, or most of the humour which I thought fell flat, also 'The Mandarin' twist was a bit shite and mostly unfunny.

That said, some fine bogis.

7.5 Hogis

Ed: It was violent as fuck for a 12

# His panic attacks definitely felt out of place, but the worst bit for me was the garage kid - he just felt glued into the script for no good reason.
And it's not often you hear the word "wankers" being used in a kids film.

# yeah, definitely tacked-on, luckily not overly-sentimental
I thought the kid might be a reference to some minor Marvel character, no idea though

That said, I look forward to Specific Rimmer and Elysium.
