# seamless
And dunno why kids want them. nearly 300 notes I saw some going for, they dont sound massively fantastic either. I think they are just for label freaks.

# ^this
I've got some Bose QuietComforts which are fifty quid cheaper and a gazillion times better.

# ^that
I have always been a fan of KOSS brand. No nonsense, just good sound.
Secondary reason: An audio kiosk company that I sub-sub-sub-contracted for would let me keep the redundant pair of headphones when I would go onsite to troubleshoot audio problems. If the problem was something else, I got yet another free working set :D

# I got 2 pairs free with a Bose PA.
I got 2 L1 series 2's and 2 B2's and they chucked them in for fuck all which was a reasonable price.

# As we say,in the industry,

# To be honest, Bose are overpriced as well
You can rarely go wrong with Sennheiser...

Edit: Or Denon, while I'm at it.

# Always had Sennheiser before and was very happy with them
but like I said, got them for nothing but would never go back to Sennheiser now. Unbelievable stuff.

# It's because kids are fucking thick
To be fair though Dr Dre's credentials in electrical engineering from Compton Technological College shouldn't be sniffed at.

Yeah - you summed it up better than me.

# Another Sennheiser user here...
but these trashy branded "Bass Beats" headphones are all about the logo. All about the trendy label. They are being used by iPhone and iPod users with their low quality MP3\M4A 128kbps rips via iTunes.

Kids of today don't know what decent music sounds like... [/grumpy old lurker returns to his FLAC collection....]
