You know, I think you're onto something, when people make the effort to make a picture, they might be encouraged to make more if they receive positive feedback. The above is a good, topical pun. Positive feedback on the image might take the form of "haha nice one" or even "nicely!". Responding without reference to the picture, saying that one awaits something else, is a bit like someone showing you a good picture they painted and instead of you saying "it's nice" you say "hmm, I'm sure there are better ones, I can't wait to see something like it, but better. Bye."

At the risk of spreading Christmas cheer where it's not wanted, you might have got the wrong end of the stick here.I don't think HT was criticising the OP, it's just there has been a theme (? meme) in the past of mock Ikea assembly instructions consisting of line drawings of odd things with amusing names. I think the point he was making was more that he was expecting a deluge of such posts, not that the 'Spykea' idea was poor.
