I only have a very cheap photo editing program that was free with a camera about 7 years ago :(

I use Gimp (poor mans tattyshop)
and I believe Tattyshop CS2 is now free from Adobe *edit may be bollocks having looked at adobe download page

Edit: When installing this on Vista, Win7 or Win8 DON'T install to C:\Program Files (x86)\. Instead install to C:\Tattyshop\ otherwise installer will complain.
And then turn off the option to check for updates as not needed as there aren't any updates

And vice versa. They are about as good as each other for what we use them for. So it really does depend on what you are used to.

I find they are both as confusing as each other in totally different ways. Can be quite a steep curve into either product. It amazes me how fast some people on this board throw something together.
Try www.getpaint.net/ as that is free and simpler.
Or a true artist uses MS Paint.
