Seriously, it's pathetic. Pretty stars around my most recently updated programs? How nauseating.

Mac is annoyingly crap, but Windows 8 is unusable - only reason I made the switch to Mac this year is because they have the edge in the "not quite as shit" stakes.
If only Photoshop worked offline on Google Chrome OS I'd be able to leave Microsoft and Apple happily far, far behind.

My old PowerBook had to go back to them five times because of manufacturing flaws - Superdrive failure, magnetic lid closure catch failure, hinge failure, and two problems with the screen. Despite being ultra-careful with charging and never leaving it plugged in unattended I got through three power supplies for it too - the first one caught fire and the second the casing cracked and something internal failed. Oh, and two replacement batteries. For what I spent on that fucking thing over the years I probably could have bought three generic, higher spec PC laptops.
