Ha! Common misconception. Actually MSSA not MRSA. MRSA is a Staph aureus which is resistant to pretty much all oral antibiotics (including methicillin, hence methicillin resistant SA, commonly multi-resistant SA)
MSSA is basically a common or garden Staph aureus (methicillin sensitive) that lives on your skin normally, and is a common infective organism.
She bust a rib falling from a table having sex, and needed a chest drain. This became infected. This caused some bizarre problems that some doctors believe are predominantly psychological (chronic post infective fatigue, a relative of ME) and she became wheelchair bound with no evidence of physical injury.
The hospital settled out of court for £5 million since the original infection was what set off the chain of events, even if they were psychological/ psychiatric rather than physical!
TL:DR mad bitch gets minor infection after sex related injury, wins £5M for being mad.*
