My father used to sing 'Ding Dong Merrily On High' with the final lineHosanna in excelsis-bum!
I mean, every time, every verse, wherever we were. In school, in church, everywhere.
I had forgotten it, and although i remember finding it hugely amusing, I am unsure what the joke really was, beyond loudly singing 'BUM!' whilst everyone else was taking a breath for the next Gloria.
