Having the new Queen preganate with an illegitimate child whilst taking the throne would be a terrible look for the firm especially considering the circumstances, so they scheduled a mandatory 'abdominal surgery' to take care of the problem without Kate's explicit consent.
The 'accidental'/forced abortion has sent Kate doolally and now she's being held indefinitely in a secure facility for 'her own well-being', effectively silencing her.
I reckon she'll be let out briefly within the next couple of months, and then die tragically in a car crash whilst being chased by the paparazzi on her way home.
