best thing about the parade was
listening to the commentary. They had wayne hemmngway and david dimbleby on BBC1 ripping the piss out of the woman who designed the floats.

that was good. Also the pregnant man picture on the 60's float - the campaign was from the 70's by saatchi & saatchi - which didn't even exist in the 60's. Needless to say DD & WH picked up on this too...

I saw him give a talk at Urban Gardens (wife is horticulturalist) and about 60% of the people in their didn't know who he was and walked out when they realised that all he going to talk about was a making social change by creating a new living environment nr gateshead and didn't mention gardening once.
