exactly what you mean about the smell. Smelled "Canadian" to me, because I associated Dr. Seuss and his books with going to see my cousins in Canada :) Happy Memories :D

Suess smell
Cheap paper and ink. I know that smell. Just had a baby girl in the US - and the Suess books STILL smell like that here.
