YesThey are a handful. Mostly like cats, in that they eat cat food, sleep in cat beds, use cat boxes and wash themselves. Like dogs in that they learn tricks and sorta-kinda walk on a leash. (You can at least take them for a brisk drag or something. LOL)
I didn't want a ferret, but he was dumped near my house. He's been a good, if mischievous, pet. He even picked himself out a little girlfriend in the pet store...just make yourself at home, why don't you, then?...while I was supposed to be buying fert kibbles.

Ferrets are great petseasy to look after, friendly - just look out if one decides to bite you, it'll fucking hurt.

Mine don't!I keep their cage clean and don't overbathe them into producing musk. At their worst, they are like a combo of new-mown grass, warm puppy and cheap men's cologne.

One of the dinner ladiesat my primary school used to keep ferrets. She brought one into school one day, and it pissed on the headmistress...
