# My hatred for him
has now dissolved into a mild disinterest.

Good pic mind ;)

# how avid
a fan are you, on a serious nosey question, ?
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:03, archived)
# Of footy in general
or Man City?

I've been a season ticket holder at Man City since I was six, however you won't hear me bang on about it, it's only football. In much the same way this is only a messageboard ;)

It's fun, but not the end of the world.

# i've had a season ticket at coventry
for the past 6 or 7 years, not this season though, at uni and all

# Coventry
is a fucking hole.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:09, archived)
# yes,
i live in leamington - it's nicer
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:12, archived)
# Jolly good.
I worked at Warwick Uni one summer. Most of the staff lived down there too, despite Coventry being so much closer...

# ooooooooo!
I went to warwick uni!
Coventry is indeed a hole. I was 'lucky' enough to live in Earlsdon, just on the edge of the hole.
Leamington is rather posh. Or as my Leamington dwelling friend reminded me constantly, "Actually, it's ROYAL Lemaington Spa!"

# I may well have seen you then
We've played at Coventry more times than I care to remember ;)

# yes,
but now we are terrible. last season was painful.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:11, archived)
# but improving. McAllister will do well with what he has.
This isn't really a board conversation is it?
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:12, archived)
# it's a message
on a board.

# my hatred for him
is entirely based on my disinterest. everywhere i look i have him thrust in my face. i dont care about this man. i find the fact that people do irritating beyond belief. i saw a book titled "Britains favourite toddler - [Thingy]* Beckham!" it made me livid. what was worse is that somebody had bought one.

*insert name of kiddie here...
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:06, archived)
# Okay, name someone else who could qualify for
"Britains favourite toddler"... exactly.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:09, archived)
# thing is
i probably wouldnt care about them either, even if i could think of one. it's just the idea that we're supposed to have one that annoys me.
even then, the fact that he's the son of a guy who's good at football and a bit of a pretty boy is no reason for a country to love him (not that i think it does).
i dont need logic in my dislikes :)

# are you
me and I haven't noticed?
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:16, archived)
# not that im aware of
though you never can tell...

# Hints:
a) Don't read tabloid newspapers.

b) Don't watch ITV

c) Just ignore it.

# i dont
and i dont.
and i do...that picture just roused the repressed emotions :)

# ackshirley I feel sorry
for him in a way; before long he's not going to be able to even blink the wrong way in public, and if he suddenly gets shite at kicking an inflated goats bladder round the village green he's royally fucked in the ass.

But very rich.
(, Fri 8 Aug 2003, 0:18, archived)
# that post made me laugh
but is a very good point. so now not only does he have stupid lil books about him from ages 0-1, but my pity too :)
then i remember the rich bit, and waver on indifference of the lil sod...
and dont call me shirley...

# Yeah
the £1m+ a year he get pays for being shit and slated should soften the blow.
