they don't look like chicken, they don't smell like chicken, and they don't taste like anything that ever even considered being a chicken, but if you approach them with an open mind and don't expect chicken, they're really quite edible.

nice idea - physically existant enough to honestly say 'yes, of course I've got protection', yet cheap enough to fall apart within the first 10 seconds, thereby not compromising feelings.
