I don't think it counts them twice for the same message, but it will for different messages in the same thread

# has anyone seen
the new disney film yet?
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:11, archived)
# Pirates of the Caribbean?
That was a Disney film. It was great. I think that may have been mentioned here before though.
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:12, archived)
# Finding Nemo
is also great (Pixar's last film for Disney)!

toy story was state of the art?

# Cor
that's going back a bit - then again Tron was state of the art at the time too.
And still looks fucking ace!
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:16, archived)
# toy story still looks great!
and they actually wrote a fantastic story (for a kids' film) for it, so it's something special, and it still stands up. there's not a thing they could do to make toy story a better film.
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:17, archived)
# To be honest
I haven't seen it in ages and I wasn't a huge fan of it even then.

I think they improved it immensely with Toy Story 2 - apart from adding that absolutely fucking awful sickeningly bittersweet song in the middle.

I am fully aware that Toy Story 2 relies on the first film to be as good as it is.

# it'd be marginally better
if it had pirates in it

# Lizzie MacGuire?
Hee hee, that rocks. It's a disney film also.
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:14, archived)
# i'm very annoyed at that franchise, actually.
lizzy mcguire is one of the best things to happen to kids' tv in quite a while, but they've just ruined it with a cash-in film while she's still that age.
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:15, archived)
# they had to do it then though
'cause she wasn't gonna renew - and in fact did quit disney soon afterwards
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:23, archived)
# then they should have just
left alone.
(, Thu 4 Sep 2003, 22:25, archived)

if that was some sort of spin off - all the ads seem to assume you know who the hell they're on about.

although if it's destined for major surge bandwidth (eg newsletter) let me know so I can mirror it on a host which can cope with surges :-)

I think barnesy does though, and he could probably get it as far as my hosting if you ask him nicely...
