have daughterof's we're both (unfortunately) fully conversant with 'the shiny show' which is where 'give yerself a shiny' comes from. My little one's 6 so she's well above the shiny show's age group (2-5?) but she still watches it, much to my annoyance :)

# reminds me of boozy underage nights out at the pub..
after a few bevvies, we'd start verbally abusing each other and sticking our fingers up at each other, saying abusives like 'smell your muvva', which progressed to 'smell your daaad', things got much worse, but my fingers are aching after typing this post
