not everyone is on the stats, nor do all the people on the stats have a nice little box saying when the post a lot

you set your standard time...
and on your profile it adds how many posts you do at each timespan and says: "Nightcrawler" or "Dayshifter" etc

but it's also a lot of coding that would have to be added into the board. whereas a time menu would require almost none

it would just be a case of making each person's entry to the DB or table etc have a:
morning = 127
afternoon = 262
evening = 143
night = 798
then have some simple maths equations...

everytime someone viewed your profile, but since it adds on one post to the total every time you post, it could easily just add it to one of four different totals for the time of day, sum them up for the total, and show the biggest.
