When my mum was a little girl her dad's local had a traditional off-license bar which was like a little room at the side with a seperate door that sold beer and fags over the counter to take away. Despite being little (about 9) they new her dad so she was aloud to buy fags for him.
One day she went in and there was a new guy behind the counter. She thought this was odd but asked for her dads' fags which she was given and then he asked for the cash. He asked her for about a tenth of what they cost, she thought he was dumb and new and it was great because she could keep the change. She put the money on the counter and turned to leg it before he realised his mistake. Then she heard her sunday name being shouted from behind her. It was the landlord of the pub, no-one else was to be seen and he was asking what she thought she was playing at jumping over the counter and taking the fags and leaving the wrong money! Why hadn't she just shouted him if he wasn't there like normal. He basically accused her of stealing. She told her story but he said she was making it up because they didn't have a new guy. He also told her dad who didn't believ her either, she got a belting!
It was only when the story got back to the landlady she backed my mum up. She saw this guy all the time but never told her husband because she thought he'd just call her a silly moo! He had never bothered her so she just left him to it. They never found out how many other people he'd served without them knowing.

Is anyone getting concerned that there might in fact be actual life after death? Which would suggest that god exists? Therefore most of us are going to hell? I'm off to church after work...

wouldn't be so bad if you had died somewhere good, like the ladies showers at the gym or a fireworks factory. Imagine the fun you could have!

God is the ghost of everybody who didn't get stuck here.
Oooh... 'We are God. Resistance is futile. Your distinctivness will be added to our own.'
