That sounds like me exactlyI hate walking into a place where I don't know anyone. And lurking in a corner by yourself is much more difficult for a girl.

the solution to that is to wear a big badgesaying "MizEmma" on it, and I'm sure you'll be quickly spotted, girls standing on their own at b3ta bashes, are likely to be befriended, maybe even clumsily wooed.
