it's probably not even a proper trick, as the tricks you saw in tony hawks aren't real placement of the feet would make that impossible....

you're right..it's more like a shove-it.
I think "twat" was perhaps a bit severe, though. And I've never played Tony Hawk, although I did help build the most northerly half-pipe in Britain.
