# Particularly bad this time of year
I find myself tortured every time they advertise toys for Chrimbo, at 26 I just can't get away with buying them anymore. Have you seen some of these things you can buy now?
(, Mon 3 Nov 2003, 8:58, archived)
# not on tv
but in the shops... it amazes me how some of the stuff's allowed to get sold at all, and other stuff I wish like mad they'd had when I was little - and yet the kids nowadays, they just don't care!

it's still not enough to tempt me to have my own kids though, not even knowing I'd be able to get the toys for them and play with them myself

# That's what
the rest of your family is for....

Still haven't forgiven my sister for having two girls instead of a boy and a girl so that I can buy them all the toys I want to play with.

# My brother in law
bought my nephew the most expensive Scalextrix stuff he could find. The kid never gets a chance to play with it.

# Yep
