there are some nifty fight sequences and some fancy special effects (massive still amazes me)and the special effects are actually welldone unlike those in the second matrix film (i havn't seen the third yet)

was ready to leave within about 30 mins of it starting. Not too keen on the books either.

what about the matrix, trinity comes close to death survives, neo comes close to death survives, repeat in next film.. and prolly in the next...

in that when you first see it you're not sure whats going on, and its exciting when its revealed what has happened to the human race. Sure, it has its share of bad acting, but as a concept its really good and it did make for an enjoyable film.
The second film was a bit arse, though.
