use 'image size' to reduce the pixels to 400 or so wide to make the filesize smaller too.

one of many of the previous attempts we've made to show you how to do it. Click on the window tab and the go down the list and click on optimise. A new little menu window should open. One of the drop down menus in this window should have settings next to it. Choose jpeg from the drop down list, then click on file up the top again, and select export from the list. Choose a file name and then click save.
