i always find books a lot easier to learn from - i seem to be more inclined to stick at it if i have a big book to work through.

a good idea but i really need to do some well described (read "for simpletons) tutorials and get a good idea for it first i think
plus i don't have to pay for whatver book i get ;) a great incscscentive.
