aren't really thread wastes are they...

saying 'hello, I just made a cup of tea' is a threadwaste.

edit: saying it in a new thread obviously, just saying 'hello, I just made a cup of tea' is okay in normal conversation.

I disagree - if it's a question that hasn't been asked a thousand times, or even if it's a newbie, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
