Sounds a silly question, but I've never actualy thought about it before. I'm just looking for jobs and one says £12.000 Per Annum. What's Per Annum? how do they work it out?...

ie, if 12k is the normal wage, and you're only working part time (20 hours), you'll get 12,000 divided by 37 times by 20.

Per Annum is simply the yearly salary.
