# Tips ?
As you can see in the above anim, i had a lot of trouble making the sled scale up correctly to fit with the background.
I used photoshop 6 and imageready 3 but to make the sled resize (which was all one layer) i had to keep duplicating it and making it a little bigger each time - i ended up with about 10 layers of the same thing but at different sizes.

There must be a better way to do this sort of thing...

Can anyone help a poor amature ?

# do the animation bit
in flash, make the bear a symbol, tween it, moving forward and rescaling (have to make it a gif with indexed transparenced background first, fireworks is good for that)

# Quality idea about art funding
for b3ta.
There must be a way.
If b3ta goes down I'll have to start doing some real work at work!

# Yeah, it's not good
I consider myself very lucky that I get free hosting - my boss is a little gem for that.
The web will be a boring place without the likes of b3ta and rathergood.
But look how many people have responded in the last 24 hours offering help. It's great. Very touching. It must have cheered Joel up.

# small tip
using transparent backgrounds in flash from photoshop works nicely if you use PNGs rather than gifs. You don't get the jagged white borders you can end up with using gifs.

# Or
import the jpeg or whatever into flash, and then mask just the areas of that square picture that you want to show (ie the bear and sledge) on a mask layer above.
